The ASIST T4T is an intensive 5-day course for U.S. Active Duty and Reservists in Active Status to become certified suicide first-aid intervention trainers.
Status: Verification of Active Duty or Reservist in Active Status. Skills: Demonstrated group facilitation and public speaking ability.
Monday (0800–1700): Workshop immersion and suicide first-aid review. Tuesday (0800–1700): Completion of immersion and transition to trainer role. Wednesday (0800–1730): Training theory, curriculum design, and manual study. Thursday (0800–1730): Practice presentations and expert coaching sessions. Friday (0800–1600): Final presentations, certification award, and course conclusion.
Course Value: This training is valued at $3,500, provided by CREDO at no cost.
Mandatory Commitment: Do not sign up if you cannot fulfill the requirements for Registered Status.
Registered Status: Achieved after leading 3 compliant workshops (minimum of 8 students per session) within one year of completion.
